Automated Warehouse – Roosendaal

Automated Warehouse – Roosendaal

The project consisted of the construction of a new distribution centre in Roosendaal, The Netherlands, for storage of clothing and accessories for picking and distribution to retail stores across Europe and the UK. The building incorporated multi-tier garment hanging mezzanines, automated high-bay pallet racking, automatic guided vehicles, a three-storey office block, aerosol store and an automatic battery charging facility.

The project was executed on a shell and fit out basis, with MBA staff involved from concept to completion over 3 phases of work to ensure that all of the building elements including services were fully integrated.

The building incorporated high and low bay racking, garment handling conveyors, shuttle systems, shuttle and high bay cranes and automatic fork lifts.

Our team was responsible for the co-ordination of the building construction and services installations and the interface to the automation equipment.
