Biography

Paul has been involved in the design, installation and project management of refrigeration systems for over 25 years. Projects have ranged from simple refrigerated stores to complex food production facilities, using pumped ammonia, ammonia / glycol, CO2 and synthetic refrigerants for system capacities up to 5MW. In 2000 Paul presented a technical paper to the Institute of Refrigeration following the completion of one of the UK’ largest ammonia glycol installations serving the 30m high Dairy Crest storage and production facility in Nuneaton. This included working with Strathclyde University on the CFD modelling of air flow patterns. From 2002 – 2009 he was a member of the Institute of Refrigeration Service Engineers Committee who provide technical support and guidance to the UK’s refrigeration service engineers.
